Although no Northern based
designer was represented at the just concluded Lagos Fashion Design Week (LFDW),
which is so sad, considering that the Kano based designer - Binta Shuaibu of Vintage Colette - won the first edition. No hurt feelings though, knowing that a Fashion Show is being organized in the North. Yes! You heard me
right, and I am sure you are excited about this. Though I blogged about this a
while ago, I promised to give the details.
The Fashion Show tagged Afro-Centic Designs 2013, is organized by
Pearls Fashion Agency, and would take place in Katsina State. The details of the
